Previously the CEO of an Advocacy Charity, Katie is a qualified advocate with specialisms in IMHA, IMCA/DoLS and Care Act.  She is a lecturer, trainer, assessor and Internal Verifier and holds Centre Manager responsibilities for the delivery of all the approved and accredited NCFE qualifications within Libra Partnership.

Katie holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management with many years experience of working in the Public and Charity Sector which enables her to provide consultancy and support to organisations in change management and governance.

As a clinical supervisor she is also qualified to provide confidential external supervision to CEO's, Senior Managers and other professionals via phone, Skype or face-to-face.

Hi, I’m Vanessa. I work as the Project Manager for The Family Partnership, which means I oversee the day-to-day running of the service and work closely with both the advocates and those accessing our services to ensure the highest quality advocacy service is provided and the parents we work with are happy with the outcomes they have achieved. I have a background in project management in both the private and charitable sector within Mental Health & Advocacy and am a practising Relevant Persons Representative and Independent Mental Capacity Advocate.

Hi, I’m Clare. I work as the Administration and Operations Coordinator within The Family Partnership. I work closely with the team and provide all forms of administrative support to help things run smoothly. I also have a background in supporting families and children with SEN. I’m passionate about supporting vulnerable people through our advocates and I am very proud to be a member of this team.

My name is Manu and I am a part-time advocate with The Family Partnership. My background comes from the corporate world where I qualified as a Coach & Mentor for Chief Executives and senior management in Central London. I am currently training for my qualification in Independent Advocacy and have extensive experience within the Deprivation of Liberty sector for vulnerable adults. My passion is in supporting the individual in identifying and clarifying their rights and helping them discover a clearer way forward in their lives.

Hi, I’m Claire and I work as a part-time advocate within The Family Partnership. I also work part-time as a legal secretary and am currently working towards the Independent Advocacy qualification. I have worked previously as an advocate with the elderly and vulnerable adults. Working with parents within The Family Partnership is close to my heart as I feel strongly about supporting people and empowering them to take control of their lives and work towards a happier future.

Hi, I’m Kate and I’m a part-time advocate with The Family Partnership. I have been supporting people through advocacy for nearly two years. I have a qualification in Counselling, and I am studying for my qualification in Independent Advocacy. I also have experience working with young people in the care system. I feel passionately about people’s rights and freedoms, and I am proud to be part of this partnership. I hope to help families who are going through the child protection system, feel heard and included.
